Please follow these steps if your Zebra labels are not printing correctly.

Calibrate Your Printer

  1. Open the Start Menu and select "Devices and Printers", "Printers", or "Printers and Scanners".
  2. Power on the printer.
  3. Press and hold the Feed Button until it flashes two times then release it.
  4. Allow the printer to complete feeding labels and printing a sensor profile.
  5. The printer should now be calibrated

Set Your Label Size

  1. Open the Start Menu and select "Devices and Printers", "Printers", or "Printers and Faxes".
  2. Select Manage under your Zebra Printer
  3. Select Printing Preferences
  4. Under the Options Tab, make sure you have the correct label size entered

Offset Printing and/or Multiple Labels Feeding at Once

1. Open the Start Menu and select "Devices and Printers", "Printers", or "Printers and Faxes".

2. Right-click on the Zebra Designer printer and select "Printing Preferences".

3. Select the "Advanced Setup" tab, then click on the "Calibrate" button in the lower-right corner (see image below).

The printer will feed two labels and calibrate to the labels you are using.

Black Bar Prints on Label

If your Zebra Printer is printing a solid black bar on your labels, this is typically caused by a damaged or incompatible printer driver.

To correct this problem, we recommend installing a new copy of the printer driver by following the Installation and Setup guide above.

Upside-Down Printing

If your Zebra Printer is printing upside-down images on your labels, there are two reasons why this may be occurring:

  • The first cause of this issue is due to an incorrect setting in the printer's driver. To correct this problem, please do the following:
  1. Open the Start Menu and select "Devices and Printers", "Printers", or "Printers and Faxes".
  2. Right-click on the Zebra printer icon and select "Printing Preferences".
  3. Within the "Options" tab, change the "Rotate 180°" setting by checking or unchecking it (see image below).
  4. Click "OK" and then print a sample of your label. The label should now print correctly.

Light or Faint Printing

If your Zebra Printer is printing labels that are too light or faint, this is typically caused by an incorrect driver setting, and can easily be solved.  To do so:

  1. Open the Start Menu and select "Devices and Printers", "Printers", or "Printers and Faxes".
  2. Right-click on the Zebra printer icon and select "Printing Preferences".
  3. Within the "Options" tab, increase the "Darkness" setting to 13 (see image below).
  4. Click "OK" and then print a sample of your label. The label should now print correctly.
